Welcome! Government Documents Round Table (GODORT) of Michigan is a group dedicated to promoting the effective use of publications and other information products issued by all levels of government in Michigan. The purpose of this wiki is to serve as a source of support for government information librarians and library staff in the state of Michigan. We also hope this wiki will serve as a resource for librarians and others who are interested in government information and would like to learn more about it. The links on the right hand side of this page will take you to federal, state and local resources located within this wiki.
Our "administrative" resources can be found at this link, which includes a current list of membership as well as how to become a member, bylaws, awards, etc. Our newsletter, the Red Tape Blog, is updated daily with items of potential interest to government documents librarians or government information managers in Michigan.
The Resources for new government information librarians in this wiki contains people and listservs and resources that should be noted.
Get involved with GODORT of Michigan today. Whatever you're interested in -- federal, state, local, foreign, or international -- there's a place for you. Volunteer and influence what programs are held. Network. Help spread information about government documents/information products far and wide. Join and help support our programming and information sharing.
